I was chatting with your daughter in GOSH comics and she told nme you're very interested in Aboriginal art, like myself. I spent about 5 years in Sydney writing/designing Mad Max 4 (which will never get made, I think!) and a follow-on from Happy Feet. In that time, I went all over Australia and got into the Wandjina images of the Kimberly and really liked the work from Balgo Hills and historically, the work made at Papunya. I have collected some nice pieces.
I'm finishing up a Dr Strange mini-series for Marvel, and it features an Aboriginal sorceress called Ms. Ningirril, complete with her own Gadachi shoes.
Hope all is well with you. Your blog is great.
Best,
Brendan
swimini@yahoo.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1752841194995687278.post-19756541978465103352009-07-16T03:32:10.308-05:002009-07-16T03:32:10.308-05:00I really do love those bookmarks. i wish they'...I really do love those bookmarks. i wish they'd be available somewhere (i.e. somewhere else than at that particular bookshop).

In other news, I just saw this and it reminded me of strange happenings in San Diego (as told by you).spacedlawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12462723005560128474noreply@blogger.com
