  1. Glad to hear it. Very glad. I keep telling everyone that I'm going to stay married, and now I have you to point to, as proof that it does happen. Mind my finger of mundane prophecy. I predict that it will one day poke out an eye. Right you are then. I'm off to me kip.

  9. Congratulations. What's a twenty-third anniversary on the wedding scale of elements? Zinc? Magnesium? Bakelite?

  11. Congratulations to you and the wife of your bosom, Eddie! Twenty-three years is nothing to sneeze at (my wife and I are approaching our 17th) but the real question to ask is: what's planned for the 25th? It's only 2 years away, after all, and some things take time to get just right...

Seriously, if you haven't already, take a moment to stop and consider just how lucky you've (both) been to have someone so dear to you in your life for all those years, when many people never find the other soul that can complement them so well. Happy days, indeed!

  14. Hooray! Don't kill each other. I am far too wee and pathetic to be orphaned.

Love from yer wee'un, currently in Glasgow and still lacking respect though no old men have shaken a walking stick at me yet. xxxx

  15. Obviously you believe some things are worth conserving and that change for the sake of change is not a good thing. :-) Many congrats, and I want your recipe for such great wee'uns.
