Calascione's paintings are lovely! There are painted versions of Ernst's Une Semaine de Bonte... see?
Hi, Eddie,
Sorry this is unrelated but we weren't sure how to get in touch with you - I'm posting this on behalf of my boss Kenny who is a director of Forbidden Planet International in the UK and who also recently set up a new small UK based publisher (Blank Slate Books) They've just published their first 2 books (a trnslation of Mawil's We Can Still Be Friends and Manchester-based Oil East's Trains Are Mint) and wondered if you might like copies to have a look at. You can see them here www.blankslatebooks.co.uk and there's an interview about the publisher on the FPI blog here: http://forbiddenplanet.co.uk/blog/?p=7587.
Kenny said he'd be happy to send you copies if you wanted to have a look - if so then drop him an email at manpen@aol.com and we can sort out getting them to you.
Apologies again for having to use the comments box to leave you a message.
Joe
