"so, has Snyder maintained the integrity of Watchmen, and is Alan Moore simply a grumpy old coot? Or has Snyder completely missed the subtleties and nuances of Moore’s media-specific creation, proving his theory that adaptations are "a waste of time"? Only audiences familiar with both can ultimately decide." says my local hip rag, RAVE.

Hi, Eddie:
As I see it, It's not a question of whether the movie is good or not.
It is a matter of integrity and dignity.
Alan Moore wrote the story. If he doesn’t want it to be turned into a film script (so to say) the film shouldn’t have been filmed.
There are many people with good ideas out there who are willing and able to work for the film industry.
How come they used Moore’s ideas?
Because they don't respect creators. Just to boast about: We are the POWER, we can do whatever we want with you, humble people.
I mean, I won’t see the film. I have no regard for those who don’t respect the others.
Well, sorry for my English.
In that aspect, Eddie, I've always looked you up. You were wise to protect your conceptions from those dishonest.
Take care.
Saludos a Ana y los niños.

That movie didn't pass the censorship board in our country, so it won't be screening in any of our movie theaters. Not that I really want to watch it, but...
The movie was quite good, and for once it wasn't movies coming down to the level of comic books, but hollywood trying to come up to the level of a great graphic novel (for the want of a better term). It doesn't really succeed, but it tries bloody hard.
Yes its good.
And at my session nobody laughed at Nixons nose.
