Is it Arnold Brown who has the line about the secret of comedy being all about the timing? "If you arrive at the theatre even one day late..."

I saw Brown's show at the Edinburgh Festival 3 or 4 years ago. Very dry. Very funny. Quite surreal.

I believe "laconic" is the word one would use to describe him...

So, Paul Gravett has edited a "new anthology aiming to encourage young people to get interested in – and angry at – corruption in its many forms and guises." The first line of the article in the Guardian says, "It is a comic book collection without a cape, dodgy mask or death ray in sight. There are, though, plenty of baddies."

And what headline does the Guardian sub-editor give the article: "Pow! Comic-strip heroes fight against corruption"
